Many people say that waiting is a very difficult thing to do. All throughout our lives we wait. We wait to grow, to mature, to have our own life and live it the way we want it to be. Even everyday circumstances teach us how to wait, but most of the time we rant and tend to get pushy just to get whatever it is that we want.
Little did we realize, when we wait we learn self-discipline. We wait in patience for our own time to arrive and enjoy fully what we’ve prayed for. Waiting proves our trust in the One who promised to take care of us regardless of how bad it looks. When we wait, we must place our trust in God that He will never break His promises.
Waiting may seem in the way of us getting to where we want to go but sometimes it is through waiting that the sight of our truer prayers and desire appears. We must always remember that waiting takes time and it is not over until we learn FULLY what we need to learn.
Waiting reminds us that we cannot always have it our way. We are reminded that there is a God who loves us and wants us to love Him first before anyone else. The process of waiting itself teaches us how to grow more inlove with God. Waiting is best appreciated when we dedicate ourselves to our Father.
Waiting allows precious things to grow inside. To bloom like never before.
Never get tired of waiting for the Lord, for the people God has given you, for your turn in your everyday undertakings, for someone you love.
Waiting is a part of our character not many value. In a microwave, breakneck-speed world, waiting seems so unproductive. Yet in the scheme of things, waiting has a definite purpose. Waiting is life’s rest cycle so you can make the distance. Waiting often allows God’s search lamp to catch up with our strayed path.
